Pushpa Movie Story
Pushpa is a romantic – action thriller written and directed by Sukumar. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media. The film stars stylish Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna while Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil play supporting roles.
The actioner drama movie will be released in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The details about the story of the movie and Sarrainodu fame actor Allu Arjun’ character has not been revealed yet, but he will play a lorry driver. Sukumar described the storyline as, “The red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra is a convoluted nexus that unfurls in the course of the narrative through a coolie-turned-smuggle.”
The shooting was held in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad and Nalgonda.The director personally went across Nallamala Forest. The movie is set in Rayalaseema and Nellore and the plot revolves around red sanders smuggling.
This movie is shot in rural backdrop and Allu Arjun has mastered Chittoor accent for the role , he is playing. Earlier, Vijay Sethupathi was roped in the movie for a special appearance, but he walked out from the project. Now, National award-winning actor Samuthirakani has been roped in to play the Sub-Inspector role.
The film was formally launched in October 2019. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the film’s music. The film’s title Pushpa and the poster was officially announced on 8 April 2020, on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday. Due to COVID-19 crisis, shooting at foreign locales have been cancelled and now Indian technicians have been hired for stunning action sequences. A 6-minute action sequence is reported to be made at a cost of ₹6 crores. Actors are trained well for the look of the character.
